A word from our pastor:
As the pastor of First Baptist Church of Huntingdon, I want to welcome you to our church and to our community. I feel that we have an excellent program here at First Baptist, from Preschool to Senior Adult.
We strive to meet the needs of our church family and our community. The purpose of our services and our programs is to draw us nearer to Jesus Christ. We have a warm, friendly fellowship, and would like to invite you to join with us and experience His presence.
If you have recently moved into our community, let me encourage you to prayerfully consider making First Baptist Church your home church. We receive members in three ways: your profession of faith and baptism; a letter of your membership from a sister Baptist church; or by statement of your faith and baptism if a letter cannot be obtained.
If you have not made Jesus Christ your Savior and Lord, I invite you to settle this matter in your heart. Our services are always evangelistic in nature, and the opportunity will be given at the close of each service to respond to Jesus Christ and receive Him as your personal Savior.
If I can ever be of service to you, please feel free to call on me. I pray that you will be in His house each Lord's day.
