Welcome to the Music Ministry at First Baptist! The Music Ministry goal of First Baptist Church is to lead our church body in passionate worship and to experience a fresh encounter with God. It is also our goal that the Music Ministry be a prelude of praise to the preaching and teaching of God's Word, to complement our soul- winning and discipleship ministries, and to prepare the hearts of God's people to worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24). Music opportunities include: Choirs (preschool, children, and adults). We also have an adult drama team (The King’s Players) that brings life and art together. We think you will find the Music Ministry here to be encouraging, uplifting, exciting, and inspiring.

Opportunities to Serve:

Worship Choir

The Worship Choir leads worship in Sunday morning services. This group is open to all students and adults who desire to use their talents in worship leadership. They also lead in special services throughout the year (Praise nights, Christmas Celebration, Easter Celebration). This group of worshippers comes from all walks of life and every experience level. This is a ministry group where we sing, love, and pray together. The rehearsal time is listed above and we meet in the Worship Center following Wednesday night Bible Study.  We hope that you will join us as we seek to make His praise glorious.
